Cas Demos

The girl is named Cassia Demos. Both of her parents were spies, but her mom died a few years ago. She used to go to a co-ed spy school out on the Pacific Coast. I don't know where. That would be classified. Lily has been trying to hack into the Gallagher Network to see if she could find anything about it, but I really don't even care.

The girl, who says she wants to be called Cas, looks like a female Percy Jackson. She has pitch black hair with beach waves, and blue green eyes. Lightly tanned, probably from all that time on the warm west coast. She has a slight dusting on freckles and a killed glare.

She is constantly wearing headphones and a tiny silver ring. She doesn't talk to a lot of people, but then again she's only been here a couple days, so let's cut her some slack, eh?

She's tested into our grade in almost everything. They don't teach Polish or Greek at her school, so she hast to take Polish with the freshmen. But guess what? She speaks Greek like a native. I wonder why?

*Gasp* Maybe she IS a demigod?

Just When I Thought It Couldn't Get Any Worse

Just when I thought this semester couldn't get any worst....



I have a new roommate.


Yep.



She is the daughter of a rich business man who also happens to work for the CIA. Something came up, I don't know what and she is going to be staying here for the rest of the semester. Nobody knows if she'll be coming back after that.

She is our age. I don't know if she'll be be in our classes or anything.

I literally just know that I walked into my room after a run in the woods and saw a new bed with a strange girl sitting on it. She had her earbuds in and was working hard at ignoring everyone. From the annoyed expression of Jess's face, Jess was trying to make friends. The girl looked up at me, no doubt wondering whether I was going to be overly friendly. But I'm having my own problems right now, so I just nodded to her and walked to my bed.

Jess huffed after a second and left the room. This should be fun.

Bloody Hell. He notices things.

I was filling my mug again after the Movie Marathon and I noticed it was my

"Good Morning. I see the assassins have failed" Coffee Mug!






Either Alec was bloody lucky and grabbed my favorite coffee mug by luck or....

He's been watching me

A LOT

Not just creepy watching. But genuinely noticing what's going on with me (scary)



In two days he already notices my favorite coffee mug etc.

The girl part of my is blushing.

The spy part of my is impressed

The girl spy though is wondering:

WHY is he watching ME? I'm not saying "I don't have a chance" or anything, just why me?
None of the other boys are picking up on these things.

Also, is it just me? Or does he notice these things about everybody? Is it because he had to carry my mug for me the other day? (I'm still not over that by the way)

Even David, who knew Jess when she was little, doesn't know these sort of things about her.

My Punishment

So I bet your wondering what my punishment would be.

 

 Well, Headmistress Morgan assigned me to "Boy Duty"

So guess what.

When all the boys show up, tradition is, they pick a guide. The first time they came, they just chose any girl they wanted from their grade. Well. Headmistress Morgan has some rules about that now. Basically, the boys can choose from a list of girls who sigh up for the position. We don't have many more girls (in the Sophomore grade) then we do visiting Sophomore boys. Which means one or two girls can decline. Anyway, as my punishment, I have to sign up.

Goodie. I was one of the girls who was going to sit this thing out. Wheee.

You may be thinking, well, maybe the boys will pick some one else....after the whole knife throwing incident.

No such luck.

There are 15 visiting Sophomores.

The first 15 girls who sign up get a slot.

So.... I'm stuck.

At least it won't be Peter.

Oh, if you're worried about Peter (AKA Annoying-Boy) he's totally fine. I wouldn't KILL a guest! Honestly, what kind of person do you think I am?

He had a book. (I think it was a fourth edition of Hacking in the Himalayas...) He stuck it in a breast pocket of his jacket. I know right? How even has a breast pocket in their zip up hoodie? I though that was only a suit coat thing....

Anyway, the knife barely went through the book to his skin. He had a tiny poke. Just hold your finger over it for a minute and you'll be fine!

It did look a little creepy. You should have seen all the boys with their eyes bugging out of their heads.

That's right! You don't mess with a Gallagher Girl!

Mom and Dad's Merry Christmas Mission

I just got a call from my Dad. (No cell phone. Duh. He called the office) I rushed down to talk to him. He has to go on a mission. Mom is going with him. I will have to spend the holidays at Gallagher. Not that I don't like my school, just I was so excited to see my parents and I never suspected this could happen. Mom and Dad are mostly retired. Mom mostly just teaches and does office work. Dad travels around a lot giving talks and briefings. An old mission opened up. They are going as their old covers (romantic couple get away) returning years later.

They called to let me know and ask if that would be ok. Of course I said "Yes, go ahead. I'll be fine."

But I'm a spy. We lie.

Thanksgiving Break/Cammie

Christmas isn't that far away! Thanksgiving break is coming up too! I'm so excited!

Some of the girls will be staying at GA over the Thanksgiving break, because their families are too far away or on missions somewhere...

I fully plan to go back to...where ever i live....to be with my family over break.

But for some people, coming back to GA IS coming home.

Maybe that is why Cammie Morgan showed up today?

(And yes,  Liz is flipping out.)

DIY Manicure/Pedicure

Since it was Gallagher Girls giving each other pedicures that first figured out finger prints, I figured they wouldn't mind if I blog about manicure.

That's right.

DIY Mani -Pedi

Step 1: Clean everything.

Take off the old polish. Trim and file your nails, and then, if you want, buff your nails.

 Step 2: Soak

Soak hands 2-3 minutes and feet 4-5. It's best (long term) to use sugar scrub on your feet and hands because they tend to rip up your skin less. You can make your own with one tablespoon sugar and tablespoon baby oil.

Step 3: Cuticles. Soften them with oil. By now, they should be soft from the oil and the soaking, so go ahead and push them gently back.

Step 4: Moisten! Rub on that moisturizer. Before moving on, be sure to swipe your nail beds with nail polish remover! This is VERY important. If you  want your nails to last the week, with all the P&A classes and crazy science experiments you have to have super clean nails.
 

Step 5: Base coat. Also important. Do not forget.

Step 6: POLISH TIME! Pick your favorite color and paint away. To be professional, paint a swipe down the middle and then down the sides.

Step 7: Stop, relax and DON"T TOUCH ANYTHING! Just sit back and watch Black Widow kick butt. Or Buffy kick butt. Or Oliver Queen kick butt.

One of the coolest things ever is seeing a Gallagher Girl mentioned in the Percy Jackson Series (Liz just brought 3 copies of the entire series back from....where ever she was)

It said that Ameilia was a Half-Blood! 

Which totally would have worked. She would go to Gallagher during the school year and Camp Half-Blood during the summer.

She could kill any monster or mortal!

She is SOOO COOOL!!!!

(she also didn't die when her plane disappeared. She finished her life under deep, deep cover. How cool is that?)

 To change your how you look, you have to change your skin. Anything and everything that make you YOU must go! You always have super short crazy hair? Go with really long hair in a natural color.
You would NEVER wear crazy hair? Or super short hair cuts? 
Bring on the hot pink pixie cut. (which might be harder is you have long hair)
Which is why I keep mine pretty short (not pixie length though. It's easier to shove it under a wig. ( I totally love this wig and these pilot glasses. Did I tell you I fly?)
